SHOC Executive Board Members:

The SHOC Executive Board Members are critical to the SHOC Program. This team of students must work closely to design the SHOC program for the year. They review and select leadership council members and mentors, design the SHOC Day program, facilitate training and supervise Leadership Teams.  SHOC Executive Board Members ensure that SHOC day runs smoothly. They coordinate and participate in New Student Welcome events and develop creative ways to facilitate ongoing interaction between mentors and mentees throughout the following school year.

The SHOC Executive Board Members should possess outstanding organizational and time management skills, have excellent communication skills, and have the ability to juggle a multitude of responsibilities. To be successful, the SHOC Executive Board Members must be willing to commit a great deal of time at meetings before and after school, and also complete tasks outside of the school day. One year of SHOC experience (mentor, previous leadership team member, Ambassador) is required for a SHOC Executive Board Member position.

SHOC Leadership Team:

Previous SHOC Mentors who want to be part of the planning and implementation of the SHOC program are encouraged to apply for a position on the SHOC Leadership Team.
