National Honor Society

Mission Statement

The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.

Dear Rising 11th & 12th Grade Students, 

This message serves as an announcement to inform you of the 2022-2023 UHS National Honor Society application process.  All qualifying UHS students will receive an invitation to apply to the UHS Chapter of the National Honor Society on their school-issued email address in mid-July 2022.

 To qualify for an NHS application invitation you must be a UHS rising junior or senior and you must have at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA. Students who wish to apply also must have a minimum of 25 verified service hours completed.   Only hours that are completed during June of 2021 or after will be accepted.
