Dear Rising 11th & 12th Grade Students,

This message serves as an announcement to inform you of the 2021-2022 UHS National Honor Society application process.  All qualifying UHS students will receive an invitation to apply to the UHS Chapter of the National Honor Society on their school-issued email address in mid-July 2021.

For the 2021-2022 application cycle, the UHS Chapter of the National Honor Society has amended the application requirements to accommodate the COVID 19 pandemic disruptions.  Please note, the amended NHS application requirements are temporary and will default back to the original requirements stated in the NHS Bylaws for the 2022-2023 NHS application cycle.

Temporary Changes For The 2021-2022 NHS Application Cycle

  • The number of required service hours has been reduced from 25 hours to 15 hours.
  • The application deadline has been moved to September 10, 2021.

All other existing NHS requirements are active for the 2021-2022 NHS Application cycle.  To qualify for an NHS application invitation you must be a UHS rising junior or senior and you must have at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA.
