Dear Unionville High School Families:

On behalf of the Unionville High School PTO, welcome to the 2018-19 school year! We hope you’re having a wonderful summer and are looking forward to a productive and successful year at Unionville High School.

The PTO Booster dollars, as well as proceeds from our key fundraisers including the Used Book Sale, Art Gala and Practice PSAT/ACT/SAT tests, enable us to fund approximately $40,000 in curriculum enrichments grants directly benefiting your children each year. Our October 11th PTO meeting is dedicated to reviewing this year’s grant requests and all UHS parents are encouraged to attend that meeting to cast a vote!

During the year, the PTO and the School District will be using Swift K12 as our main means of communication. Your email address in PowerSchool drives this communication. If you are not receiving emails from the PTO, please contact the District Technology Department to troubleshoot the issue. The UHS website,, also has a PTO link providing important information. The calendar, committee chair list, practice test forms etc., can all be found via the link.

The PTO After Prom Committee coordinates the After Prom event and funding. After Prom is a way for the UCFSD Community to provide a safe and fun continuation of Prom festivities and is free for all Seniors! We strongly encourage all students to attend this amazing evening. We need volunteers for all phases of this event and it cannot go on without your help!! The majority of kids that attend Prom also attend After Prom and we want to make this year’s event just as successful as those in years past. Volunteering is not a choice – it’s a responsibility for parents of all grade levels. So get involved and please contact Luci McClure at for ways to help out! An After Prom Kick Off Meeting will take place shortly after the school year starts.

* November 16, 17 PTO Art Gala (we are in need of a chair for this event!)

* February 22, 23 Used Book Sale – Contact Person – Angela Blecher
