VOLUNTEER & JOB OPPORTUNITIES (Listed in Counseling)

THE LAND CONSERVANCY FOR SOUTHERN CHESTER COUNTY- Volunteer/Intern

51 Chandler Mill Rd, Avondale, PA 19311

Are you looking for an internship that will let you explore careers in the natural sciences? Come help with the challenging, engaging work we do on TLC’s preserves, in our office, or with our kids’ programs. We welcome high school volunteers. Come, have fun, bring your friends or make new ones!

Land Management

Work with our Land Managers in the battle to restore a healthy, inviting habitat for native plants and wildlife. Land management includes removing invasives, trail maintenance, brush clearing and planting and maintaining native trees and shrubs. We’d love to organize a work day for your club or friend group, and we also welcome individuals.

TLC Office

Our office staff is hard at work every day so TLC can continue its vital mission. Helping us is a great way to contribute your time and talent. Website management, graphic design, event planning: these are just a few of the many areas in which we could use your skills as an intern. Or, just come in and help us for a few hours with our no-experience-needed office tasks. There’s always something to do! Check this link on our website for a current list of volunteer/intern positions: http://tlcforscc.org/volunteer/

Education

Come lend a hand with the many programs and events TLC sponsors all year long for youngsters. Kids’ Winter Carnival and Spring Break in Nature are held during school breaks; the perfect opportunity to volunteer during the school year! Check this link for a full description of these and other children’s programs: http://tlcforscc.org/education/current-programs/
