Each student is unique and deserves the opportunity to tell their story on their own terms. To provide students with greater flexibility, the application process to UChicago became test-optional in 2018. Since this change, thousands of students have chosen to apply to UChicago without standardized testing, instead choosing to highlight their successes in other inspiring and distinctive ways.

We are pleased to announce the launch of our Counseling Center Webinar Series. We have received a great deal of feedback that our evening events are difficult to attend with everyone's busy schedules. With that feedback, we decided to put together a variety of webinar series that cover the same information provided in the 10th and 11th grade evening presentations.
Students and Parents are encouraged to review the score report and utilize the free resources the College Board offers to understand and improve their scores.
