    Putting the T and E in STEM Education

    STEM education focuses on the areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. President Obama and U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan have said that making sure our students excel in STEM is essential for American health, security, and quality of life.

    STEM Education at UHS

    Unionville High School’s Technology Education department is teaching and applying STEM concepts every day in all of its classes, but especially in the Engineering CADD (computer-aided design and drafting) classes. Students use the entire suite of Autodesk software to create 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional drawings, designs, and models to assist them in their efforts to provide solutions to challenging engineering design problems.
