With Winter Break only a few short days away, a buzzing excitement fills the air throughout the hallways of Unionville High School. While last minute shopping trips and endless present wrapping will consume our time over the next few days,  I wanted to pause and take this opportunity to offer my personal wishes of Seasons Greetings and hopes that you and your family have a happy and healthy New Year!

Catching "U" Up - 10/1/2018

This year’s Homecoming Spirit Week festivities are underway at Unionville High School. Today, for Day #1 of Spirit Week, the halls are filled with Blue and Gold. Tomorrow, students and staff will be dressing up in our most festive Hawaiian garb. On Wednesday, we will be going “Old School” for Wayback Wednesday. On Thursday, everyone at UHS will be donning their Red, White, and Blue USA Spiritwear, and on Friday, the students will wear their respective class colors in preparation for Friday afternoon’s Pep Rally.



The directors and staff of the Cavalcade of Bands Honor Band are beyond excited to be able to offer local
students the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to participate in the 130th Rose Parade in Pasadena, CA. The
Honor Band is one of just 20 marching bands, and the only group from this part of the country, selected to
participate alongside elaborate floats and graceful equestrian units in the historic 130th Rose Parade on Jan. 1,

UCFSD Annual Achievement Report

During the December School Board meeting, the district presented the new dashboard, discussed the Future Ready PA Index, and shared benchmarking data via school reports delivered by each building principal. 

Pennsylvania's School Bus Stopping Law

Each year, drivers illegally pass school buses nearly two million times. Each illegal pass-by could result in a tragic injury or fatality of a student. The inconvenience of an extra few seconds spent waiting for a stopped school bus is insignificant compared to the loss of a child's life.

Once a month the Superintendent hosts an informal session which includes information about the district’s programs, school board actions, curriculum, staff changes and more.

Pocopson Chorus at Thanksgiving Day Parade!

Congratulations to the Pocopson Elementary School Thanksgiving Day Parade Chorus on an outstanding performance in the 99th Annual Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade!! Singers braved the cold and performed in front of 12 million viewers!
