Unionville HS Marching Band 2008

Ladies and Gentlemen, Unionville High School is proud to present the 2008 Unionville HS Marching Band under the field direction of Drum Major’s Elizabeth Evans and Kristin Litzenberg. The Color Guard Captain is Andrea Ryckman. The band is proud to represent the Unionville Community as their musical ambassadors.

We begin by playing the music from the first recorded words of “Mary Had a Little Lamb” followed by our first segment titled “Vinyl”. “Big Noise from Winettka” serves as our vinyl portion including some tid-bits of songs by Kansas, The Who and Aerosmith. Barbara Eisele and Matt Bloch are our featured trumpet soloists..

The next era of Audio evolution will be the “Cassette” portion of the show. We feature a medley of “Jump” by Van Halen, “Thriller” by Michael Jackson and “Conga” by the Miami Sound Machine to represent this era. Some rewinding on music and a little dancing will be featured in this production.

We end our evolution adventure with “Digital”. From iPods to MP3 players to video games, this music is energetic and driving. Melodies from “Mortal Combat” and “Sandstorm” by Darude help us to get up to date with the Evolution of Audio.
