The 2008-09 UHS Jazz band is a group who is setting new standards for performance at UHS.

This years group, with many new members added to our group from last year, will continue the jazz heritage at UHS and add to it some of their own legacy. From talent shows, to jazz festivals and community events, this group are the jazz ambassadors from Unionville HS. We will host our 11th Annual "Jazz Along the Brandywine" this year on February 28th. Numerous HS Jazz Bands and our Middle School Jazz Band will be performing for us that evening. Past performances of the band have included: Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe in Disney world; Festivals of Music in Virginia Beach, Myrtle Beach and Boston; and numerous festivals in the Philadelphia area. We perform at many Cavalcade Jazz Festivals during the school year.
