The Unionville Music Parents’ Association’s (UMPA) purpose is to help meet the needs of orchestra, band and choral students and their directors. UMPA provides intermission refreshments at the winter and spring concerts, honors our graduating seniors with music folders with their names imprinted on them and corsages at the spring concerts.  Concert attire fitting and purchasing is coordinated through our organization. UMPA supports, when able, the requests of the music departments director’s. The Unionville Music Parents’ Association provides the Spring Awards and Music Banquet followed by a Variety Show showcasing the talents of our music students from all music programs.  All music students and their families
are invited to attend.

The Unionville Music Parents’ Association will have general membership meetings four times a year.  These meetings offer a great opportunity to hear from the director’s about the upcoming year’s events and student accomplishments.  Our membership meetings for Fall ‘08 through Spring ‘09 are as follows:

Tuesday, September 9th at 7:00 pm
Tuesday, November 11th at 7:00 pm
Tuesday, February 10th at 7:00 pm
Tuesday, April 14th at 7:00 pm

Please note that all general membership meetings are held in the choral room of the high school.  We welcome all parents of UHS music students to attend our general membership meetings.

In the Spring of 2008 the Unionville Marching Band Boosters was
formed to support the specifice needs of the marching band and their director, Scott Litzenberg.  Although now financially separate, UMPA and UMBB remain affiliated through communication and support of all music programs.
